In particular, the vineyard is ventilated and sheltered from humidity, making it ideal for producing sparkling wines with the Martinotti method.

Despite the challenges posed by the dry land, the vineyard offers many opportunities to produce elegant and consistent wines with fresh and intense fruity aromas. At Tenute Lombardo, we've chosen to use Cataratto for whites and Nero d'Avola for reds and rosés, as well as Grillo, White Muscat, and Frappato, which have always characterized Sicilian wines.
