Uncovering the Unique Flavors of TEIXAR - The Prestigious "Vi de Finca" Wine from Vinyes Domènech in Spain's Capçanes Region

We are proud to introduce TEIXAR “Wine of Farm” from Vinyes Domènech in Spain, the first of DO Montsant and fourth in Catalonia to receive the classification of “Vi de Finca” from INCAVI! This special wine has been recognized for its unique climatic characteristics, made from grapes from a single field, and followed the protocols, production points, and more demanding processing and yields due to the DO.


TEIXAR is located in the picturesque and ecologically diverse area of Capçanes, situated between the Serra de Llaberia and the Montalt, at 400 meters of altitude. The irregular terrain of the area creates an environment of intense winds and lower sun exposure, which delays the maturation of the plants and allows for the full expression of the Grenache grape.


Through its unique climatic characteristics and following the protocols set by the DO, TEIXAR has been granted the prestigious classification of “Vi de Finca”, which not only distinguishes the wine for its unique and climatic features, but also provides it with a national and international recognition for the next ten years.
